    What a knockout!!! Absolutely LOVE it I'm 1/2 Norwegian and think I'll do this to a tribute to my mom's side of the family. Have that magazine. LOVE your colors. Thanks for the tips on how you quilted it. AMAZING Thanks so much for sharing!!

    Oh, fun, DaisyDebby! We have Norwegian blood in the mix, too. I hope you enjoy making the quilt. It is quite complex with all the 1.5" strips that make up the white snowflakes, but I always think things are more fun if they're challenging.

    Yes, I machine quilted it with a Bailey 17" on a Grace frame. I love that Bailey - a midarm machine that's much less expensive than longarms. It doesn't have any fancy features, which I really didn't want. The one thing I would like that it doesn't have is needle down stop, but that's not a big deal once you get used to it.
