Here's the site where I got the kit:

    http://webstore.quiltropolis.net/sto...9&parent_ids=0

It doesn't look like they have the pink kit anymore -just one they call "brights". A friend got that one thinking it was the boy version of mine, but ... it's really more feminine in real life.

Many of the fabrics in these kits are from Westminster so perhaps you could find yardage that way.

I ordered 4 kits from this site. One came short a fat quarter. One had such substituted fabrics that it was no where near what was pictured on the site. The other two were fine so .... beware.

Thanks for the cheering words about backings for bindings. I was taught to have a separate piece and to hand sew it to the back. I just don't have the patience to spend that time. If I have to hand sew I don't want to play! The friend who took the beginner class with me always does the "right" way so ... I was getting a complex about it until I found that what she likes about my bindngs are the zigzag and scallop stitches I use and her machine doesn't have those! Whew!

What a a cute quilt! I love variegated thread too & use it a lot in machine quilting. Like how you describe your stash as stashlette!

So cute! It works very well- all the different pinks.

I didn't learn to read with Dick and Jane. We had
Alice and Jerry and (dog) Jip at our school. Those were the days. What power reading gives us! Been a bookworm for sooooo long!
