    Default Not a Bow Tuck but borrowed the ties

    Not a bow tuck but needed to borrow the tie side closures. Hope that is OK. Wanted a bag to take back and forth to work and this is going to be it for the summer. Hope you like it.

    I've made both this pattern and the bow tuck. I actually prefer to carry this one but wasn't smart enough to think about borrowing the side ties. Thanks for the idea.

    Thanks everyone for your comments. Grandma7, this is a free bag pattern http://www.bhg.com/crafts/sewing/acc...ix-pocket-bag/ . I changed the size though and added the bow tuck bag ties on the side. I cut the inside piece 21" X 16" and the outside piece to form pockets 21" X 12". Hope you can understand what I mean. My bag ended up measuring 11"H X 15" W X 6" deep. If you have any questions just PM me.
