You know what? I like the triangles. They are quirky, like the fabrics in the boats. Those aren't cut straight, and the triangles match that. I think it looks great!

Ya'll are so sweet! I just might work on it tomorrow. Right after I dig out my sewing table and workbench! LOL! I already made the pillow case to go with it and he has been sleeping with that, but you are right. I just need to knuckle under and get it done. It's just that I have to have a big work space so I can lay it out and pin those stupid, dumb, blasted triangles! But they do really make the quilt. I just wish someone else was dealing with it for me! Ha! And I have to finish so many things it is just overwhelming sometimes. And then I get on here and get all these new ideas I want to do right now but I have to finish something, anything. That would be good. Rambling now. It is so past my bedtime. You are all the best!

I know this is 'old school' and extra work but.... with pencil and ruler in hand draw seam allowances on the pieces (being careful not to stretch). With right sides together match up the pieces and stitch. This should solve the problem. Hope this helps. If not do as the other ladies suggest...stop stressing and slap it together.
