I love it. Sometimes we beat ourselves to much. Just relax and enjoy.

I like it!!!!!!!!!!! The Amish say only God makes things perfect, and the Amish do put in a mistake, I don't have to worry about making a mistake on purpose. It happens without me trying. LOL

I don't think the amish have to put in a mistake on purpose, I don;t think ANYBODY has to worry about not having one!
A tip I learned from experience, if you don't have enough fabric in your seam, iron a small piece of lightweight fusible interfacing over those seams because it WILL fray in the wash even after it's quilted. TRUST ME, IT WILL! :-(

You know your GS won't care if it's not perfect, he'll love it. I had the same problem a couple of years ago doing sports for 2 of my GS. They were supposed to be the same & my own design. Somehow one was shorter than the other. Figured I'd just been working on them too late at night. They were thrilled anyway

It is such a cute quilt..and so much of the work done already! How about purposely "staggering" the triangles? Sailboats are not sailing in straight places, right? So, make the best of what you have...the lucky little guy who gets it will be thrilled!

I am new here, that quilt is great--I know my grandsons would love it!! A fellow quilter-friend told me one time--"if you can't see it from a galloping horse, don't worry about it". I think about that often when mine don't look quite as I would like them to!!

I love the quirkiness of the quilt. It really looks like it is supposed to be that way! Don't worry about it. Any child would love it!

I love your quilt. I appears the boats are in motion. Your blocks line up perfectly. The way the triangles are pieced makes it appear that the wind is blowing and the water have waves.
