I found the pattern in a quilt book my Mom had, Quilt Designs old favorites-and new, thats the title of it. It says another Aunt Martha's creation book # 3175 and it cost 63 cents when she bought it, no date on it. And when I made it I cut out each diamond, but since then I've found out you can sew the strips together and then cut them out, I don't know how exactly but you might check into it, that would make it much easier. Have fun, its one quilt I'll always remember.

Peggy, that quilt is fabulous! You must be magic to have gotten all that done cutting out the individual diamonds. I really like the fabrics..I love the way the dark green works against the tans/beiges. I'd like to make something like that someday. Great job!!!!
