Not Happy

It is indeed a bit too busy for me... so I know where you are coming from.
Someone I used to sew with and I started making tree skirts - and had about 4 prints... and put them together and man oh man it is hideous. It is still in the ufo box. I am sure others would love it but it was too countrified for me. I might finish it and put it for sale on Etsy one of these days... I do want to start selling some things other than my crochet patterns on Etsy. It's just a matter of getting started lol.
Anyhoooo.
I'm sure that someone will absolutely love that quilt. You will find a home for it :)

I don't know what a D9P is suppose to look like, but I like this. I thing the red binding is really going to make this quilt complete. I'm sorry you're not happy, after all your work. I like it alot though. Would you like my address? :-)

Does that happen with anyone else once they start working on a quilt?
For example I really do not like old fashioned colors and fabrics. I am making an Underground Railroad Sampler and I am using all Fall colors, because there is just no way I can make a whole quilt with the dull colors of the time. Many people like those colors, but I just don't.
I made a sampler for one of my classes I taught. I used some of what I would call traditional colors and flowers. I have never liked it from day and I won't ever like it. Most people who see it have wonderful comments, the color just isn't what I like. I am glad you made me remember that quilt, when I find it I think I will give it away.
