Default not quite a BQ baby quilt

I decided not to flip the blocks for the BQ and came up with this design for my gr gr niece baby quilt. The owl fabric was purchased in Berlin a few years back and the dot fabric was purchased in Merritt, B.C. also a few years back. I worked on this quilt during the virtual quilt last weekend.

I like how these blocks are laid out. Is there a pattern for this?

The pattern is BQ by mapleislandsquilts . Cute with the different colors. Works well.

Very cute modern baby quilt. I am working on a bright colored one. I love those colors too in your quilt.

That's a happy, fun quilt! I think your interpretation works great.
