Your stiches are very good and even in size and they become smaller the more you quilt and accept your own progress. Until you accept your own improvments and stop comparing yourself to seasoned quilters you will be unhapppy with your own progress. My first pieces were much like your own but I was happy with how they looked so I was encouraged to do more and more and as I did my stiches and needles got smaller. Now my arthritis shows in every 5th stitch. I have developed a little "tell" in my stitching and when I accepted it as my "new" quilting signature I thought of it as very creative, no one will ever have a stitch line like mine every. Love yourself and your work and nothing will fulfill you like hand quilter does...Happy Quilting :-D :-D :-D

Thank you all for your support. I love to hand quilt. It is my favorite part of the quilting process. When I compare this quilt to my first I can see how much I have improved. Those that have received these quilts have been very appreciative. I give quilts to be used and loved and they are. Here is how the blocks layout before I put them all together. I'll post another picture in 4-5 months when I finish the quilting and binding. It seems to be about that long for each quilt.

Looks pretty darn good to me. The stitches are small and even that's what counts. Tiny also depends on the batting used. I have seen some in museums that had teeny tiny stitches and then realized there was no batting or very very thin batting. I was trying to get stitches that small with a traditional poly batting Wasn't gonna happen. :-)
