My dog sleeps on the bed and has his own lap sized quilt. I sleep on my side and he sleeps more or less on my late DHs side. It is a king sized bed, quilt reaches the floor and it is big. The laundromat with its giant machines and a color catcher are perfect for washing and drying quilt.
Love the scrappy in the bottom picture.

Great idea. Thanks for sharing. Our doggie sleeps with us too and she is only 7 pounds but she rules the roost and where she wants to sleep on the bed. She is spoiled rotten. Now I am thinking of making a quilt just for her.

I got a laugh from your words...free the ufo's from the back of the closet. Fantastic idea to put them to good use! Thank you for posting great photos.

My dog sleeps with me also, but I have a chewer so to solve the problem I made a doggie quilt out of scrap home dec material from my business. Her quilt sits on top of my traditional quilts I made. If she chews hers I really don't care. I just add a patch on the damage and continue loving her. What can I say......She is my baby!

I try to marshal myself to complete things, but the few UFOs I've had have been about a 1/3 finished which is a really good size for a runner. and if you use 2 UFOs for front and back, man the space you will open up will brighten you day

That is a good idea but my pet is welcome where ever she wants to go, hair and all. She does like her own quilts and is one that uses them without complaining that they don't match her room. May just use some of my UFOs for a new quilt for her.
