    Just finished this padded notebook cover tonight.

    Took clipings from the local newspaper and printed them on fabric.
    This is for a frined of mine who works at the newspaper and is nice enough to get me news print paper which I use for paper piecing, string quilting and crazy square blocks...... wanted to do something nice for her so this is what I came up with.

    Good, unique, practical idea!
    As a paper person (one who saves scraps so I will never run out <g>), I envy your inside contact. Newspaper paper is a nice sewing aid.

    Cute! Very clever idea to come up with such an appropriate thank you for her.

    Do you live near Glidden? I grew up in a small town on Hwy 77 about 10 miles from the UP border.
