    ME years ago, 501 spray left stains. Just a wall hanging

    Cute! I use 505 spray all the time. I have never had it leave stains, but I've not used it on solid white either. I'll have to watch for that. thank you.

    Glad for information. I use 505 alot but don't make quilts with a lot of white

    Did you wash the quilt after you finished it? I have an applique project that I glued the pieces down before appliqueing but never quilted it, therefore, never washed it. It has yellow/brown spots where the excess glue spread during the prep process. It wasn't noticeable 12 years ago, but as it got older, the glue turned color. Won't use her brand again!

    The piece needs to be washed after using 505.

    Really cute quilt! Sorry about the stains. Perhaps the company customer service can offer suggestions if they don't come out in the wash.
