Jocelyn sent this quilt to me for LAQ>

It's a gift for her DH. Isn't it GREAT!!

She didn't want any "tools" quilted ..she wanted more abstract quilting. So I kind of thought that the borders should that look like a screw does..you know the groove that twists around..I thought that was nice...then the loopies in the white areas to look like a spring...I outlined the areas in the panel...and also the wood....it was a nice texture and I didn't want to take away from it.

Perfect quilt for a handy man!

I used Hobbs polydown batting and I quilted this freehand on my 26 INNOVA.
    Thanks for looking.

Great, do you know where she got the panel from?
It would be perfect for my brother who is a craftsman?

Nice idea and nothing girly about this quilt. I saw this panel in the fall in one of the Lancaster shops. Made my grandson a pillowcase from coordinating fabrics.
