Hi. I have the same issue of APQ magazine with this quilt on the cover. There is a quilting diagram on page 68 for this quilt which is a variation of feathers. This is one reason I like this magazine because it gives you a possible quilting design. I love your quilt. It is a totally different color scheme.

I bought the magazine to do the same quilt! I have yet to get it started! Way to go! I love yours.

When I do mine I'm going to do black as the sashing and border as it will remind me of the granny square afghans my Grandmother made for all her family.

My suggestion for quilting??? SID and then feathers, wreaths, or loose meandering. Not sure yet what I'll do on mine. I'll have my long arm by then so .....

This is one of the prettiest "scrappy" quilts I've ever seen. Your sashing and border tie to all together beautifully, just a touch of your colors at the edge. Congratulations ..... it's BEAUTIFUL!

This turned out amazing, I love all the colors, I have been thinking of making this one too, was it fairly easy.

I'd quilt some feathers in the areas around the block and maybe some stippling in areas of the design.
