I think it is just beautiful. I've wanted to make an OBW but never seem to find fabric that I though would be light and airy like this.

Thank you all for your encouragement. None of the seams match up. (You are correct a child would love it. They won't care about seams) I will take your advice and put another border on it and probably just meander on the top and I will definitely donate it. It looks much better in the picture by the way. .

Anyway, if you don't like it when it's done, send it to St. Jude, or to your local hospital, or state police, homeless shelter, or battered women's shelter. There are lots of places with need! And if you hate it too much to finish, PM me. I'll finish it and make sure it goes to a good home (not mine either, although I really do like it)

Since you don't have any babies, I was wondering about making it into a table topper. It is pretty and it would be nice for you to keep in your home.

I knew it would get great responses and inspite of my PM's to you I am serious when I say this is absolutely lovely. It is one of the few pastels that I have seen and it works terrifically. . Heck I think it would make a great late winter/early spring wall hanging even if you don't have a little one to gift it to. Donation quilt to quiltsforkids.org isnt such a bad idea too but then there is always ME!!! I think yours will show to be much prettier than mine which will show to be VERY YELLOW shortly :)

You really don't like it? Why? I think it is great. I would finish it. Would make a great lap quilt.
