One of my first quilts that I machine quilted myself started out that way, but fortunately, I had to leave and come back to it, and decided to have a little "one on one" time with the seamripper. So happy I did because it would have bothered me for a day or two. Great job, anyway! We seam to learn quickly from our mistakes.

It is beautiful! Maybe in time you can see it's beauty and not your frustration when you look at it. I feel your pain!

    Good advice!

If the foundation of a house isn't good, the rest of it will be problematic for always.
Same thing with a quilt - it's easier to fix a glitch when it happens than to try to work around it or in spite of it. The problems just seem to multiply.

The fabrics that you used are lovely.

I would wash it, and dry it just a little in the dryer, then while it is still damp, lay it out on top of plastic (or a tarp) on the floor, and square. Pull it until it is square. Have someone help you. I think it is beautiful and you should try this so you know what to do in the future. Good luck. Don't leave it in the closet. Enjoy it.

I think it's good but you don't, so just cuddle up with it or give it to Charity. I did a large wall quilt Conversion style with lovely fabrics. Otter print too. it didn't hang perfectly and drove me nuts. I gave it to charity. I figured someone would love it.

I have those moments - somehow the quilt on my wall didn't come out like the quilt in my head. From what I can see it looks pretty good.

It's only a shame if you stuck it in the back of that closet. I love it! Now take it out of there and show it with pride!!!!!
We all make quilts that at one time or another doesn't turn out the way we expect them to but that doesn't mean they aren't pretty and I know it's useful so get it out and let it grow on you. or you could send it to me and I will surely let shine on one of my beds!
