    Hi Pat, what size is the quilt? I think it's a really cool design. I think the blue is just enough. All your intersections look so perfect. Tell me why you wouldn't do another paper piecing? I haven't tried paper piecing so tell me why I might not want to try it.

    The pattern is usually known as "Storm at Sea." I actually posted a question about the pattern when I first joined; if you click my name (wesing) you can find the thread and there are some links to other threads with more pictures of other quilts in this pattern. It is traditionally done in blues and white and looks like its namesake. I hope my wife and I can make one some day.

    THANK YOU very much.. I just love this pattern and have never seen it before. And the colors it is done in are great . I think it adds to the wavy feel :lol:

    I think it is fantastic. But that is because Ocean Waves is one of my favorite patterns. Great job.

    Love your quilt. I'm currently working on this pattern and I know it as the Storm at Sea....... Mine is a miniature and will be in scrappy blues and whites.
