    beautiful quilt ..beautiful quilting. very similar pattern to the perkiomen valley quilts they make in southeastern PA. love this design!

    That's gorgeous! I just love scrappy quilts. They have so much character and personality. Amazing gift. Did you do the quilting also? It's beautiful.

    Yes, I quilted it on my HQ16. This is the first quilt that I didn't mark anything beforehand.

    The "pedal" shapes in the four-patch squares were done freehand, and the arches in the half-square triangles were done with a ruler. I had no idea that those arches would make circles. It was a happy accident! The lines in the border were done with a ruler also.
