    You did a great job! I know because I have made only four blocks of that pattern, and it is really time consuming and accuracy counts. Keep up the good work. ( I do mean to continue my blocks as I love the pattern. Wish I had used batiks as you have)

    Without reading through all 10 pages of comments . . ., did you regular or paper piece the block? If you regular pieced it, it can also be paper pieced which might save you in wondering about your 1/4" seam. The paper pieceing pattern can be found at - -

    However you pieced it, the end result is fabulous and I can certainly understand why your daughter would like one. Good luck on the next one.
