Came out wonderful! It's on my list of quilts to do. After your story, I'm not so sure. Glad yours came out so beautiful. Your daughter will love it.

Thank you all so very much for all the compliments. It's always nice to hear what your fellow quilters think. Well hte shower is over and the quilt was a hit. It got all kinds of oohhhhsss and aaawwwssss. The bride was thrilled and her groom was loving it too once he saw it!!! When you do a project like that and get that great of a reaction you forget about all the problems you had in making it. It feels good. Thanks again so very much for looking

However you pieced it, the end result is fabulous and I can certainly understand why your daughter would like one. Good luck on the next one.
I pieced it in regular fashion. I love to paperpiece and that just may be the way I go should I ever decide to do this again. Thanks so much for your compliment and the link

Thanks so much. I love batiks and the colors were basically as the pattern showed. The brides colors are browns, greens and tans with her favorite color as orange. So when I saw this pattern I definitely knew what the color combo would look like. I very rarely look at a pattern and follow its color palette but this one worked perfectly for the bride.
