Beautiful! I have one question. The fourth picture, there is a seam line on the left that stands out. This would bug me. I can't tell by the picture but were the quilting lines not going over the seam? If not why? This is what I need to learn. Is it just a light shadow thing in the picture?

All 3 are just spectacular. I love how you quilted all of them.

LOL, you are going to do a serious "duh" when I tell you. Bella, this is a Tree Skirt. Becky thoughtfully left an unquilted area where the client will make the cut from the edge to the center hole (currently the batting and backing have not been cut away either) when finishing so you can wrap the skirt around the tree! That "obvious seam line" will be cut and bound and most likely have laces or ties of some sort put on. I have never seen a tree skirt that didn't have the opening somewhere.

Well, that makes a lot of sense to me now. Thanks!

Just like feline fanatic said, once it's cut you won't see it.

One time I had a client who sewed all the seams and she said she would cut a seam out once it was quilted. That was the first time I had seen it done that way.

Also thanks to all for the great comments!
