Here is the video I watched to make these pillowcases. They really are very easy. My first pillowcase took a while but after I did four of them, It was really easy to do.

Great job, I made 14 small ones in one day and that was a chore. After the first one they went pretty fast. Just chained stiched them. Can't get my serger going and lost the book in my travels so have to keep working on it.

Wonderful job that you and your mom and daughter did. Did that include the cutting, also? This would be a good project to use up alot of material sitting in drawers or bins. Are you selling them or donating them? Thanks for sharing. Eiltcoq.

Quilts of Valor will always accept these for "Presentation Cases"
Each quilt that is made is presented in a pillowcase. The case helps keep the quilt all together while in transit to its new owner, and do not have to match the quilt. (Donations of the presentation cases are greatly appreciated) <g>
I put in this tutorial video because it was made by the Quilts of Valor group that works in a church just down the road from our Post - - and, many of the quilters are members of our American Legion Family.
This particular group organized a whole Quilts of Valor quilt presentation to every service member who served recently in Afghanistan (when they all got home).
That project topped out at 307 quilts made and presented within one year of the decision to do the project. They worked with many groups throughout the county to pull it off. <wave>
