Eight of mine are going to a local family who has fostered a bunch of kids the last 30 years. Sad to say, the momma died in early September. Each of the 7 kids still at home and Daddy are getting flannel pillowcases for St. Nick's day.

BTW, pray for them. Momma of little one who gave her up to foster care at age two days, now wants her back at age 7
Oh, my goodness! I surely will be praying for the little girl, and the whole family - - and, the irresponsible mother. I HATE stories like this.
In different times that absentee mother could be a big help to that family and start helping out around the house where her daughter has been sheltered and protected for all these years ... <sigh>
Stories like that make me sick to my stomach. I don't know why or how parents can do that to their kids. We are checking into charities around here to try to help locally. We will be donating some of the ones that don't sell. Thanks everyone for all your comments. :)

Yowsers! You must have had quite a system going there! Are these for a charity?

I'm dumbfounded ... that is one heck of a productive weekend!

Do you know how much yardage you used?

Gotta continue reading posts to see when you were going to sell these etc.

Each pillowcase takes a little over a yard. I would guess it at 110 yards of fabric for them all. I'm planning on taking them a local craft show on the 11th. What doesn't sell, we will be listing some on etsy and donating some.

Are you selling them? Or are they all gifts?
Sounds like enough for a boutique table! If so, good luck! :D
