    That's a fabulous table runner and I love the way you quilted it. I can see the veins. And in all the times I've painted poinsettas I never knew the red were leaves as well.

    I didn't know that about poinsettias, but then I have a question!
    If the yellow is really the flower, why do poinsettias have green leaves?
    and, what makes a leaf a leaf? Do flower petals have a different function than leaves?
    Goodness! I know I was only supposed to treasure that one piece of FYI, but golly! Don't you think those other questions are good ones? <g> <wave> Little pieces of biology have a way of revealing bigger things about nature. ;-)
