    Default Ohio Star Table runner

This is the first Star Block I have done and I am officially hooked on Star Blocks now!! <3 Another first for me is something that isn't just plain squares or a Disappearing 4 Patch. I got sew excited to put this on my table I forgot the final pressing!! Oh my! LOL
Thank you for taking a peak.

I think this is a sawtooth star. You did a great job. There are so many star patterns. I hope you try several of them. They are among my favorites.

Well.... We made tons of this block in Quilt camp and everyone called it the Ohio Star.... even the tutorial we worked from called it an Ohio Star. :-/
Not trying to be controversial...I am simply stumped :-|

There are multiple names for most blocks, so don't worry about it. A friend and I have friendly banter over the one I learned as Friendship Star that she calls Texas Star. (Guess where she comes from.) I love your runner, especially the yellow and blue color scheme. Have fun trying lots more stars - you are off to a great start.

Congratulations on trying something new! It turned out great, and I love blue and yellow together.

Nicely done. You can put any square block inside this star block that does have numerous names.
