Oh thanks for showing this as a big picture!! Even looks better than the avatar. Have you used the serpentine stitch (aka 3 pt zigzag)? I up the length to 2 and decrease the width to 2 on my Bernina. It makes a nice stitch to criss cross diagonally through a block. I use it often for LC's. Really helps disquise the oops in LC's!
If you wanted you could small stipple in either the large colored pieces of each block or the small colored pieces. It would make each block pop just a bit more, IMHO.
Ok 4", what sizes are the corner squares? 3/4" finished? Great job, N. G

i love mini's too. i once tatted/crocheted an afghan for a doll house. that's as small as i'll go! but the dq's are big enough to need some skill, and small enough to finish in a short amount of time. almost instant gratification! that's a really beautiful mini!
