I'm not sure how many hours went into this but I spent a couple of hours for a couple of nights this week. Not sure if the hard part is over, or if this is just the beginning, lol! let me know what you think :)

I realize that some of my lines are off center, but there's no way I'm taking them apart. Besides with the black stripe in between each row of colour, it's much less aparant.

P.S, be nice, this is my first.

This is a beautiful quilt. Quite an undertaking for your first quilt. I think you are doing great! A natural born quilter, no doubt :D :D :D

No need to ''be nice" it's beautiful! Did the pattern sat to put the black between the rows like that or was it your own idea? I think it's beautiful!

I'm thinking it is totally LOVELY! WELL DONE! and BEAUTIFUL! You should be most proud. Also think I should give up the hobby, forget the possibility of a new machine and find some new interest as for a first quilt you have done a marvelous job!!! Also for a 4th 69th or 140th!!!

Ya, well I just saw some pics in a book and I liked it. I think the normal trip around the world pattern doesn't have the black stripes in between the rows of colour, but I really like it this way. :)

You are doing fantastic! The wonderful part of this is that you're young and you'll be able to delight us with your creativity for many years to come. Keep that sewing machine motor running :):):)

Your first quilt looks a lot better than mine did. Great job. You'll be totally hooked after it's finished.

Beautiful!! You did an excellent job. The black sashing between your columns really makes your colors pop! Great first effort...you really seem to have a good eye for color and a gift for quilting!
