Oh my goodness everyone. Thank you so much. I am really overwhelmed at all of your comments.
I think because I enjoy doing it so much that I put the effort into it and try and make it as good as I can. With each block I do it gets easier to match up the seams and make it look like it is supposed to.
I have only been doing this since 18 February and feel like I have learnt so much in that time and look forard to doing more and more. My ultimate goal is to do at least 1 Baltimore block, which one of the more advanced ladies in our class is doing.
I only wish I had more time at home to do more, but with a 16 month old it gets hard to find the time.
Thank you again everyone, it really means a lot to me that people I don't know (who I am sure I will get to know) think that my work is good. :D

I'm with them! If these are your first attempt, I can't wait to see it all finished. I do not have the patience for hand quilting. I took a class when I started, and the teacher said we absolutely had to hand piece and quilt. Well, that sampler is still in my closet 10 years later, and it is not finished. I admire anyone who has the patience to do that fine of work. Keep it up, and reconsider the Drunkard's path. You give me hope. I have not attempted one, because I really hate template cutting.
Anyway, good job, hon! :D

These are beautiful! I am jealous.... I envy anyone who has the knack to do hand piecing especially when it looks as good as yours. I have a joint disease that is starting to affect my hands so hand sewing would probably just frustrate me and I would not be sewing.
I love your work and your colors are so springy...they are awesome! :)

Beautiful work!! I admire you for hand piecing, I think it is great but I just can't make myself do it. I want to get through and get on with the next one. Keep up that fantastic work. I can tell we will see great things from you.
