Thanks for posting pics of your quilts. The jewel tones are fantastic! The scrappy ones are happy quilts. How long have you been interested in quilting, how did you learn and what is your secret on keeping your projects nice and square? You can't tell me that you do these on a treadle machine, right?

I use treadle machines exclusively, and I own around 12 treadles and a few parts machines to boot ! I do all of my FMQ with my Japanese 15 that I converted to treadle. To me it seems I have more control over the whole process with using a treadle, plus the quilts take on a personality and you can actually feel and see the love in them.

As far as the extension its going to be a sheet or two of 3/4" plywood sanded smooth and finished with a urethane (so it will slide better). It will be able to be set and taken down easily and store nicely in the studio. I am still working the logistics of this one out in my head so it might be a while before its built. But I am shooting for a 140"x 132" work space for the quilt to lay on.

And yeah where are the other guys at I want to see their work!!!

Everyone else should post their pictures on their own post.
It makes it easier to comment on each person's quilts.
