    Hi Joy! The pattern was on the cover of Better Homes and Gardens Creative Collection--Quilts and more, summer 2006. What a mouthful! :D It's called Calypso.

    I didn't follow anything close to the color scheme they used, so it's hard to recognize they're the same pattern. (Hmm, mine does not look like a Calypso.)

    It called for a wide 3rd border (7"!!!) of the big print to be added, but after consulting with my 17 yr old daughter and 10 year old barn buddy--they both said it'd be too busy. So, I stopped. :wink:

    The pattern says to cut the strips 1 3/4" wide, and the large print squares 6 3/4". But, I've always liked smaller pieces (I know, I know, punishing!) so I cut the strips for the next one at 1 1/2", just to see how it looks. I don't know if I'll add more to make it bigger--not planning on it now.

    This is a great pattern to see in all different colors!!

    Thank you Barnbum for replying.... great quilt... I have printed the photo off..... will do that one but less (3) strips inbetween..... otherwise it will be the same.... I just love this site !!!
