I made both of these quilts from a stack of floral prints that my Mom gave to me in the 90's, she whacked off about 1/3 of a yard from a bunch of pieces that she'd accumulated over the years. The old fashioned flowers I made for me, to celebrate my 60th (gasp!) birthday in June. The new age flowers are made from many of the same floral prints, it hangs over my desk in my office at work. I've also make two other quilts from this stack of florals, I used up a lot of the in the pieced backing of the old fashioned flowers, but, believe it or not, I still have a pretty healthy stack left over!

Both are beautiful, but I love the back of the first quilt, and the second quilt is beautiful.

You have a real treasure there. I've been trying to put together a log cabin using all florals - and even after quilting for 30 years I did not find enough florals in my stash.
