Default Old Plaid blocks quilt done

I bought some old plaid quilt blocks at a quilt show years ago. I made up the quilt but never finished it. mainly because i'd done the Birthing method or pillowcase method. sewed around the edges leaving an opening to turn right side out. Well it sat for years. I finally dug it out and gave up and tied it.
I'd planned long ago to give it to my son, (manly colors) but they don't like quilts now. so it's mine. after these photos, i actually cut out four ties that I'd put too close to others near the darker sashing strips. they bothered me.

That's how it works :-) I'm finishing up some old stuff myself. Looks nice.

NT, I love this quilt. Masculine or not. I am in love with the utility feel. Nice job. Finally, one you can enjoy.

What a find those blocks were. And now you have a great looking quilt. See, sometimes it pays to put off a project for a while.

Don't understand why someone wouldn't like that.

I love your quilt! I would be thrilled to find some old blocks like that! Beautiful quilt to snuggle up under.
