That is a beatiful quilt top. Take your time with it and it should be hand quilted. Do you hand quilt or know someone who does? Would sure carry out the theam of the old quilt top...

I have been honored to finish old quilt tops fr other folks who inherited their Grandmothers beauties but OH, I would have So loved to have some of my grandmothers work!! I am very proud for you!! By the by, the quilt is, of course, very beautiful!!! Enjoy!!
