Aagh!! Where are the Quilt Police when you need them? Someone should be arrested for treating these treasure this way. Somebody's grandma is rolling in her grave. Sheesh.

I hope the persons who made these quilts and put their love and talent into them never find out how uncaring someone was to be able to toss something as unique and lovely as these quilts are. If they thought so little of the talent put into these quilts, the least they could have done is give them to the homeless or the poor before they ruined them with paint and the garbage dump. Some people are so unbelievably stupid and selfish.

It is so sad that family members have no idea of the time and love that goes into making quilts. So many would rather have a cheap blanket from Wal-Mart, than what should be a family heirloom. I hope my children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews realize the value of the quilts I have made and continue to make for them.

    Drop cloths??????

OK, I understand "well used" quilts being used as picnic blankets, or even letting a beloved pooch sleep on one.

I could NEVER use a quilt as a drop cloth!
