In Washington State right along the Columbia River in the gorge a few neighbors organized a community garage sale all on the same day...that evolved into a multi-community garage sale that they advertised as "13 miles of garage sales" for a couple years..........well, tht garage sale now covers over 100 miles I was just told at our last quilt group. I went to it last year and didn't get to all the sales or all the towns. Ran out of time, steam and money. :cry: :lol:

Didn't find any antique quilts but did find some "treasures."

The Highway 127 longest yard sale is a blast! I'm sure auntie and I didn't see it all, but we sure had fun everywhere we went. Lots of treasures and very nice vendors. Finding hotels along the way is kind of difficult. My friend and I are talking about going this summer.
