Leakus: The embroidery blocks are 8 inches now and will be cut down to 6 1/2 which is nice, gives a little leaway.

For those who have an embroidery machine, but are intimadated, don't be! Boy I sure was before I started this project. My hubby, daughter, and everyone here gave me the little push I needed to get going. And I am soooo glad I finally did.

I got the little curved scissors this morning before work at walmart. Wow! What a big difference! I am on my first block tonight and already it is better. I can't wait to go to Quincy Friday and get a pair of Ginghers!

I am pretty pooped tonight, so may only do a couple or 3 blocks. I will post them when they are complete.

And again, thanks soooooo much for the kind words. It helps me a lot! :)

Well, that went right over my head. It is going to be beautiful. I like the Smith Street Patterns also. I am surprised I did not recognize it.

Here are 3 I did tonight. This design has a lot of stitches so took longer. I can't wait to get them done and put with the plain blocks. Remember, these have not been trimmed down or ironed yet.

    Thanks for looking :)
