$60.00 is alot but, worth every penny. Judy's patterns are complete, save me time and money photocopying and go together beautifully.
Don't let the complexity scare you away. If you follow the instructions that come with the pattern, you should not have a problem. I have made many of her patterns, never having a problem. I was intimidated at first also, now I am hooked and look forward to each new pattern she comes out with. Get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself, you won't be sorry.

Just got my books in the mail...Still Stripping after 25 years - Eleanor Burns - its a hard cover it was 18.45 and it looks really good! Quilting in a day log cabin by eleanor Burns this one is 12.00 on Amazon- that looks really good too!!! I also got The It's okay if you sit on my quilt book. I think i would have passed on this one...I think it more for people that know what they are doing, but i only glanced at it so far so I am be pre-juding.

just started my first Judy N pattern this weekend, the bali double wedding star - so far so good - although I am only about 8 hours in to the project so far. my local quilt shop is offering a class for the glacier star/technique of the month- and I signed up! I can't wait, i'm ready to tackle something that it way beyond my comfort zone!

I love that quilt, but am putting it towards the bottom of the list because of the pattern price. It will have to wait

I admire anyone who tackles something like that! I have one here now I want to at least start on, but the instructions are going to take a day of my undivided attention! It is my mission for next year to make this quilt, one stitch at a time...,( I mean the quilt I have the instructions for)
I have seen so many fantastic quilts here. I am in awe of the beauty you all create! Keep up the good work!!  :D
