You'd be surprised! Your husband may actually 'take' to that idea!! Some men really like this!! There's always room for 'just one piece.' And, yes, there is a time and place for everything!!

    :D :D ;)

Bluebonnet Sue, you are right on!!! I go giddy too!! I just love one-of-a-kind pieces and it seems to be the kinds of things I always produce anyway!! I'm inspired too at what I see. It's so nice how the quilting craze has extended into other areas of our society (!!) especially in the food industry!! I would start off small doing a little project first. From there, you get ideas and eventually end up with the 'ultimate' piece!! LOL in your endeavors!! Hope it turns out WONDERFUL!!! Be sure and post pics - we all wanna seeeeee!!! Thank you so much and your very welcome!!!

Funky! It's what I visualize Betsey Johnson's furniture to look like.
A kind of Kaffe meets the Partridge Family. :D All in a good way of course.

Thank you, kriscraft99!!! I would love doing this too on a full time basis recycling pieces through paint or fabric and I know it would be a hot seller!! (ala Martha Stewart in her pick-up doing the same thing!) But unfortunately the time is not right for doing this and there is a time for everything. We just need to know the season we are in. No online store but I'm getting ready to set up a blog. I'm WOI (working on it)!! Sadly, our country will be facing some very serious changes in '11 and will impact each and everyone of us in some way. The changes coming will dictate our new lifestyles. So glad you are inspired and thrilled to get started!! It is exciting to do on a personal level rather than commercial! Have fun with it!! Be sure and let us see what you're up to with it!!!

    :D :D ;) ;) 8-)
