Lovely! Such a wonderful honey color, it reminds me of honeycomb. Looking forward to more pics, too!

I love the colors!!! That is going to be beautiful! If you have too many quilts already, I've got room for it in my house. Just trying to help you out!!! Great Job so far!

Such an ugly duckling fabric, but a swan in the finished product!

I am glad I am not the only one that thinks the fabric on its own isn't very pleasant. LOL

Tonight is my last night to work this week, so I will have 4 or 5 days off. (slow time of year REALLY hard on paycheck) So I should finish sewing all the blocks and will be ready for help on arranging *hint hint* :)

I have 2/3 of the blocks done. Might have to recut one cuz I am missing a triangle. I think it was about 6 pounds, black, four legs, and fluffy.

Thanks again for looking! There will be more. This is really an exciting project. I was so worried I wouldn't be able to cut correctly, but I just jumped in and went with it. I hope everyone else worried about starting a project will do the same. It's only fabric, no one is bleeding or dying if you make a mistake.

I cut my first set of 6 strips last night, and today started cutting some triangles. 9 hexagons cut (not sewn) so far...feels like progress!

I'm excited! Trying to remember to take pictures along the way.

LOL I know how you feel, I feel like a little kid! Is that silly? Is there something wrong with me to get so excited over a quilting project?

NO! because I AM A QUILTER! lmao. Say it loud and say it proud!
