Thank you for the welcome praise. I really enjoyed making this quilt. The fabric was a bunch of different breeds of dogs laying on different coloured blankets. I think my next project is going to be a BQ quilt with four patch posies. I saw a picture of one on the net and bought the basic BQ pattern so I think I should be able to come up with a pretty good quilt for the DH and I.

Well a few things have changed since I originally cut the quilt. My oldest GS saw the pieces on my quilting board at kept commenting about how much he liked it, so well you guessed it. He got the quilt for Christmas 2010 and here it is.

I'm not exactly sure. On the pattern instructions though it says in CAPITILIZED letters that you can build the 'Big Quilt' in sets of 6 blocks.
The info I found on the web is that the pattern was designed by Debbie Bowles, and you are supposed to be able to get the pattern from 'Maple Island Quilts'.
I tried to get the pattern from them but the email would not go through, but I found it at a quilt shop I was at yesterday.
Hope that helps a bit.

I was watching over the net< munchkins live on the other side of Canada, and from a nine year old I thought it was pretty good that I got a nice, long "Sweet" out of him. So I think he liked it.
