    Wow! I love them both and they are so very different. Excellent, I would think you are really pleased as they are great. I love to make flannel quilts for kids and teen (and myself) they are so comforting so I agree with you.

    I also have people calling dibs on my quilts before I even finish them. I recently made one that I'm keeping just for me. Everybody else wants it too (2 daughters, a DIL, 3 sisters and 3 nieces). All I can say is "boo hoo."

    How could you say no to either request?!? Doesn't it warm your heart when someone takes notice and claims one of your creations? I love both of these quilts! You said you just started using flannel for backing. Have you tried wool batting? I just did on my most recent quilt. I don't think I will ever go back to cotton ~ I love the loft and, weight and the fluffiness.

    That really makes me want to dig out the fabric I have for the OBW - yours is stunning. Your little boy certainly looks like he is proud of his new quilt.
