Getting excited! :) I got the first border with a 1/4" flange sewn onto this quilt today. Need to starch, iron and cut the final border strips. Going to make them 3" wide, the first border has 1" showing of the black and then the flange.
I plan on quilting it in a baptist fan, have a new set of circles for the longarm. Don't know what I'm going to do on the border yet since I can't do the fans out to the edge or it would be sewing the flange down.

Got the last 4 border strips cut and ready to go. It just might be done tomorrow. :-D
I ordered a set of Red Snappers for loading the quilt on the frame but they are AGAIN out of stock, they didn't get their shipment. Was really hoping to have those for this quilt.

OMG are your fabric choices gorgeous. I will be anxious to see the finished quilt.
I tend to quilt too heavily for the 1/4 inch insert. It ruffles as my quilt pulls up from the quilting. But the Baptist fan is probably far enough apart
