Default One Fall and One Winter ...

I just finished the quilting and hand work on these two lap quilts out of the UFO bin. It feels wonderful to have them finished and ready to use. (gift?)

I wish the photos were better, but, I know you gals can get the idea. I took the best long picture I could and a close up of the fabrics. Thanks for looking.

The second picture of the first fall quilt is truer to the real color of the sashing's. A jade green with a tango corner stones. I had no control, these quilt blocks wanted those colors to set them with.

Great quilts! Super treatment of large landscape fabric combined with piecing.

I love them. The broken dishes effect on the winter quilt adds a good effect. Good use of larger prints.

Both are so pretty, where did you get the winter fabric?

I love the jade with fall colors. I'm not one to use fall colors because we don't see much of that around here, but this quilt is really pretty. And the winter quilt is outstanding.
