I am wondering if you peeled the paper off the back of the fabric sheets you printed on?

Despite your problems it is a great looking quilt.

What a neat quilt!! You did great with all your 'opportunities'. I have a dear friend who is not in the best of health and he loves penguins. You have given me an idea for a lap quilt for him. Don't have that fabric, so guess I'll have to go shopping, darn. If you make him another, be sure to post a picture.

I agree with your DH, leave it be. It is wonderful just the way it is. I love penguins myself, so I can place myself in his shoes screaming NOOOO, please don't!
