One more variation with creative grids ruler
This one was by far the most difficult for me. I assembled it last night after I got home from work.
I matched the darker colored hexagons fairly well, but the light blue was definitely about 1/8-1/4" off.
You sew rectangle units and then sew those together to form the hexagons.
4 hexis in total in this little sample piece.
Maybe when I did the trimming of the individual rectangle units, it threw my measurements off?
It was still fun though. Just working with scraps. The colors are cheery together.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlfD9DXp9GQIts a creative grids pattern. I am just following the You Tube video they released that shows all you can do with the templates.

Thank you for the encouragement
On the video they use complimentary fabrics, instead of exact matches, so it might be easier that way to not have to be so exacting (which is not my strong suit!) Also, I used the smaller template, I'll probably try with the larger one and see if it is any easier. The main thing is that I am having fun and sewing!!!
