You have every right to be VERY PROUD of your children... I was never blessed with children but have had two husbands who were both military men as well as a brother and father who honorably served their country... I, too, am very proud of them. We take our freedoms for granted and I wanted you to tell them "Thank you" from a Minnesota stranger... they are the reason we are free!

I would LOVE to stay in touch with you... I visited Ghana in July and I am in love with the colors of all of your beautiful cloth in Africa... I am gathering fabrics to do a full quilt for my boyfriend and his family in Ghana. The colors are so vibrant and happy and I love the browns, golds, greens and oranges that are Africa as well as all the bright and beautiful accent colors. Maybe one day I can visit South Africa... I love your continent. This was my second visit - I had visited Morocco many years ago and plan to return to Ghana for the month of April 2011.
