It is a viking 18x8 (same manufacturer of Tin Lizzi) and the frame is 10 feet, but i don't know what you mean if it has a table.

What kind is it and does it have a table?

Great quilt. Did you FMQ on your regular machine. The patterns are the same. Like your regular machine, you will practice the patterns on paper, then go to your machine. Practicing on paper puts them in your mind and all you have to do is handle the machine.

There are lots of DVD's out there for patterns for overall designs and feathers etc. You tube has videos you can watch too. I do Linus Project quilts to practice my patterns. Or you can practice a new pattern in a highly patterned area where it won't show up.

Biggest mistake I have made: I matched my thread too closely and couldn't see where I was going.

Have fun with your machine. I don't do computerization even though people see my work and think I did use a computer. I love the freedom of FMQ. It is therapudic

I totally agree about the practicing but the problem is i am a visual person and i really would love to see a person's hand and arm movements to learn how to do it the right way with ease. I have started the search for classes locally but havn't had luck so far. Maybe i should post something here for all the local members maybe someone can help me find classes.

What a nice job! I know there is a learning curve to LAQ and you've mastered it!
