Three of us members of the Moonlight Quilter's Guild in Bellingham Washington (www.moonlightquilters.org) made quilts using the same pattern. Mine is 3/4 done in pinks, Harold's is in blue/white and Cora's is in bright purple and green.

None of us knew the others were doing it. I think Harold's was made by his daughter and/or his wife

Amazing how different they look!!!! Thought I would share them with you.

Mine is just like this one: 3/4 finished

They are very well done, though I do like the pink best. What is the pattern? I like the shading.

It is always interesting how the same pattern in different color schemes changes the look! All are really stunning.

Because he said that this quilt was made by his wife and/or daughter, I just can't remember if they both worked on it together or which one made it. They all three quilt.

Harold does nice work, this one was one he didn't do.

I bet you thought I was making an assumption because he's a guy!!!

The pattern is in a book called Pieced To Fit by Sheila Sinclair Snyder.

The quilt takes a loooonnnng time (IMHO!) I've been working on mine for about 4 years. Mind you, I put it away and don't work on it for a few months at a time. I can only do so many HST at a time before i need a break!

I am determined to finish it now, though, that I've seen how gorgeous Harold's and Cora's are!!

I love taking classes for that very reason! You get to see everyone's interpretation and colors...very nice!

Me, too! Although, these weren't classes, just members of the same guild working on the same quilt pattern without knowing it!

My problem, though is that I end up with lots (LOTS) of UFOs from classes! Some year I will make a resolution to make it the year of 'Finishing the Unfinished'!! (not this year, though!)
