Default As One Pile Shrinks Another Grows

My pile of unquilted tops is down again - this time by 6!

I can't believe how long some of these have been in the UFO drawers.

I practiced my stitchin-in-ditch on this one.

More practice with embroidery as quilting.
(I anchor the blocks with straight-line in the ditches, too.)

and by the time i got to this one i finally remembered to leave enough excess batting and back for embroidery-quilting the border, too. (no photo of that. i couldn't get one that shows it well enough.)

i still have 6 tops that need quilting.
one of those shouldn't count because i am going to pass the top on to a friend so she can have it quilted. then she can add it to those she donates to a local group home for kids.

one i am going to send out to a long-armer. it's queen size and i just don't have to room to sandwich it without killing myself.

a friend of mine has two she will use to practice on her new long-arm rig.

that leaves 2 i need to sandwich and quilt myself.
but not today. they have all waited soooo long. a while longer won't hurt anything. lol
