Default One of Two Nephew Quilts: The Dino

I told my nieces and nephews last year that they would all receive a new quilt by their next birthdays. My twin nephews just had a birthday, so I worked up what they requested. This one is for my nephew, Ashe. He wanted a dino quilt that had herbivores eating plants, carnivores eating herbivores and fossils. That was a lot, considering I knew nothing of dinos, but thankfully DH was a dino fan when he was a kid. On the appliqued panels, all of the blood, teeth, tongues and black line details were thread painted on with FMQ. This was a first for me, so I was worried how it would come out, but he loved it!
